• WHEN IS BEII MARKING MANDATORY?

  Some products are subject to several requirements at the same time. You must make sure that your product complies with all the relevant requirements before affixing the BEII marking to it. It is forbidden to affix the BEII marking to products for which specifications do not exist or do not require the affixing of BEII marking.

• HOW DO YOU AFFIX THE BEII MARKING?

  The BEII marking must be visible, legible and indelible. The BEII marking must consist of the "BEII". If you wish to reduce or enlarge the BEII marking on your product, you should respect the proportions of the letters. As long as the initials remain visible, the BEII marking can take different forms (for example colour, solid or hollow). If the BEII marking cannot be affixed to the product itself, you can affix it to the packaging if there is any, or to any accompanying documents. If your product is subject to several regulations which require a BEII marking to be affixed, the accompanying documents must indicate that your product conforms to all applicable regulations.
